  • (1) Marine/Vessel Shipping Insurance is strongly recommended
      Overseas shipping and domestic moves are very different in the whole process. If you think that domestic or local moves are similar to International shipping procedures, that is 100% misrepresented or misunderstood. International shipping insurance will be provided by the transport company appointed as the carrier and it will be insured by their Insurance provider. Insurance coverage amount will be determined with the client and he/she can increase the coverage amount.
    (2) The importance of International shipping insurance
      Vessel freight shipping insurance will cover the cargo transportation process for the following: Any breakage, loss and damage coverage. Basically, the coverage begins from the whole pick up to delivery process, so we urge you to sign up for the available insurance options.
    (3) Tips for Insurance policies
      Once the packing of your shipment is completed, we will provide you a PACKING LIST with a front and carbon copy for the client. You will have to make sure to write down the coverage of each item on the packing list or we will divide the coverage amount by the amount of boxes that is on the packing list. Please value your items, furniture, and household goods for their retail or suggested value, purchase price, and when you had purchased each one. Shipping insurance coverage is applied based on the value that was stated on the packing list and/or divided by the amount of boxes that were packed for your shipment.
    (4) Making a claim
      First step is to take pictures of any damaged items in order to proceed with a claim for insurance coverage. You will need to take a picture or several pictures of the damaged item and the damaged box if possible. Make sure to receive the (DELIVERY RECEIPT) that will be issued to you after the delivery in which you will sign after the completion of delivery. Finally, send us the documents, your personal information, and pictures for review to our company and we will deal with the claims procedure with our insurance provider for approval and investigation.
